Newcastle Intermediaries has made enhancements to its online systems to create a more streamlined mortgage application process for brokers.
The lender is introducing document upload and intelligent case update programmes.
Its new online document upload service aims to make the application process more efficient by reducing the wait times for brokers to get responses back on their client applications.
Sending supporting documentation associated with an application in the post can delay a mortgage decision, but brokers can now upload these online and send directly to Newcastle Intermediaries.
They can also receive case updates via email and manage cases online.
Newcastle’s ‘intelligent case update’ programme will quickly identify and inform brokers if their application is missing key information.
Steven Marks, corporate development executive, said: “We’re working hard to improve the service we provide to our intermediary partners as we’re keen to make it easier for them to do business with us.
“Last year we launched our online registration and Decision in Principle facility and earlier this year we launched our online application system.
“These gradual and continuous changes have resulted in positive changes for our brokers and we’re delighted with the feedback we have received so far.”
