Finance Professional Show sees increase in visitors

The number of visitors for the Finance Professional Show (FP Show) were up 13% on the 2016 event with over 2,000 attendees, despite a train strike on major lines into London.

With floor space dedicated to exhibitors increased by 10%, the FP show – which took place on November 8 2017 – brought together experienced product providers and was opened by the former British Ambassador to the US, Sir Christopher Meyer.

Record attendance was also reported at seminar sessions in the Conference Theatre and The Hub.

Rachel Fellows of R&R Events, the organiser of the FP Show, said the train strike did not deter visitors from attending. “Attendee numbers were up, and initial feedback from our exhibitors and sponsors indicates a surge in quality too, with many excited to increase their presence next year,” she said.

Fellows continued: “We would like to extend our appreciation to all exhibitors, sponsors, visitors, speakers and suppliers for their support and look forward to doing it all again in 2018.”

Christopher Adamou, managing director of short-term property finance lender, Lendhub, was delighted with the response from brokers at the FP Show. “The venue was consistently busy and I was particularly impressed that most brokers we spoke to had come to engage with exhibitors like Lendhub and demonstrated a willingness to hear how we could help them and their clients.”

He added: “The FP Show has been our most effective means of reaching large numbers of intermediaries in one place this year and we will definitely be looking to book again for 2018.”
