James Alexander, co-founder and former chief executive officer of Zopa, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker at The Finance Professional Show.
Previously a pioneer in peer-to-peer lending, helping to create a £100 billion global sector, Alexander is now a director at FutureAgenda.org – a global advisory providing strategy and innovation advice to help organisations make informed decisions.
At this year’s show, he will talk about what it takes for established organisations to improve their innovation strategy and be better prepared for the future.
“Financial services are quite rightly having to go through a period of significant change,” Alexander commented.
He said that it is important for finance professionals and their organisations to understand why this change is happening and how they might need to adapt to avoid becoming the ‘new Kodak’.
“I’m really looking forward to speaking at The Finance Professional Show to explain this and to share some thoughts on how to approach innovation.”
Launched in 2013, The Finance Professional Show has become one of the industry’s must-attend exhibitions, welcoming finance professionals specialising in specialist mortgages, secured loans, commercial finance, bridging finance, equity release and insurance.
This year’s show will take place at Olympia London on November 7 from 9.30am to 4.30pm, featuring almost 100 lenders and a CPD-certified multi-format conference programme.
Sponsors include 365 Business Finance, Market Financial Solutions, Octopus Property, Kuflink Bridging, Just Cash Flow, Nucleus Commercial Finance and London Credit.
