Managing director of Mortgage Support Network (MSN), Shaun Almond, has been appointed to the role of MD of sister network HL Partnership (HLP).
The move, which is the first significant investment following HLP purchasing MSN in July 2017, underlines the increasing collaboration between the two mortgage and protection networks.
The two networks already share compliance resources and training facilities in MSN’s new Leicester offices.
According to Chris Tanner, chief executive officer of HL Partnerships, the move to appoint a joint MD for both networks was vital to ensure that both networks coordinate better, while maintaining their individual identities.
He said: “Shaun has done a brilliant job at MSN and since its purchase has worked tirelessly with me and my team to seek out opportunities where we can cooperate for mutual advantage.”
“It was therefore logical for him to step up and take that philosophy to the next level, so that both networks can work even more closely ensuring our separate propositions are tuned for the maximum appeal to potential and existing appointed representatives.”
Almond added: “Mortgage and protection brokers do not always receive and support they deserve in multi discipline networks.”
“At MSN and HLP, we provide the support that they need to thrive and the evidence is clear from the excellent results our Ars are producing right across the mortgage spectrum.”
