Property portal and end-to-end transaction service OneDome says it wants to acquire more mortgage brokers as it reveals its HomeBuyer service has helped return triple-digit annual revenue.
Earlier this year it acquired CMME Mortgages for an undisclosed sum and now it wants more of the same.
Chief executive Babek Ismayil says this is down to the success of the HomeBuyer Service which bundles the services required to buy a property into one package at a fixed price: he claims this is cheaper than purchasing the services separately.
Ismayil says: “We are thrilled with the remarkable success of our HomeBuyer Service. Our customers’ satisfaction is at the core of everything we do, and the positive reception has motivated us to acquire more mortgage brokers.
“Whilst we are actively looking for mortgage broker businesses to acquire, our primary goal remains centered on delivering exceptional value and an unmatched experience for homebuyers and estate agents.
“This is why we are particularly looking to acquire mortgage firms owned by estate agents. We can guarantee an exceptional level of service to both agents and their clients while removing the burden of managing a highly regulated business.”
OneDome launched its property listing website in late 2019 in a bid to rival Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket.
It has also partnered with several estate agents and housebuilders to provide their clients with property transaction management service via its eHomeBuying platform which enables consumers to find a property, apply and get a mortgage and complete the conveyancing process online in one place.
